Rhinoplasty is a complicated surgical procedure that requires years of training, experience, and a skilled facial plastic surgeon’s hand. After decades of helping answer questions and educate patients, my staff and I decided to put this book together so you can learn:

• How rhinoplasty works
• What rhinoplasty can correct versus what it can’t 
• What to consider for people of different ethnic backgrounds 
• And most importantly, since a successful outcome is so dependent on clearly communicating your likes and dislikes, the pamphlet includes a  workbook for you to write and draw on 6 different diagrams.  You can denote what you like and don't like about your own nose, using the terms on the opposite pages to help you describe it using “rhinoplasty terms”. 

Download pages 21-31, and as you read, keep a pen and paper nearby to jot down your thoughts and any questions that arise or note any key points you’ll want to revisit later. 

We’ve divided the book into four parts:

Part I: General Information

Here we will cover anatomy, rhinoplasty, your consultation, and what to expect from the procedure.

Part II: Specialized Information

This section is your opportunity to learn about the conditions rhinoplasty can correct, including chronic sinus infection, inflamed or misshapen turbinates, and a deviated septum. We will also discuss considerations for age, gender, and ethnic background.

Draw, sketch, and notate your likes and dislikes on the 6 different diagrams using the reference material for that view on the opposing page and use that to communicate to your physician your likes and dislikes. 

Appendix

Examine reviews from my previous patients, scrutinize my biography, and access pertinent information about traveling to the Gotham Plastic Surgery offices from in-state or out-of-state.
