A popular activity to do in New York is to watch a broadway musical. These are famous shows that come straight from the city of New York and are later shown in other parts of the world due to the success that they garner. They always are shown at the famous Broadway Theater, and they are usually subject to harsh criticism. Central Park in New York
Central Park is one of the most well-known parks in the United States due to it being in the heart of Manhattan, the major region of New York City. It is a massive 840 acre park next to the popular shopping district 5th Ave with countless attractions. The attractions vary depending on the season, but some of the popular ones include the Belvedere Castle, the spring cherry blossom trees, and Strawberry Fields. However, one of the most popular things to do in Central Park is simply set up a picnic on a nice weekend afternoon with friends and family.

Another popular activity that tourists partake in is the horse drawn carriages along this area. These are carriages that fit about 2-4 people. And they are drawn by a horse conducted by another person. The Metropolitan Museum of Art
The Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met) is one of the most famous art museums in the world. Sitting near Central Park on the Upper East Side on steps, this often busy location is lively with people ready to take in the art and culture that New York City offers.
